The 2026 Islamabad mosque bombing was a suicide attack on 6 February 2026 at the Khadija Tul Kubra Mosque, a Shia mosque in the Tarlai Kalan area of southeastern Islamabad, Pakistan. The explosion occurred during Friday prayers, killing at least 24 people and injuring more than 100 others. Initial casualty reports varied, with some sources citing up to 30 deaths.[1][2][3]
