@qnceI have a conflict of interest in this page but I would like to add some factual credits if you feel they are appropriate the book would not exist without them . Mark Simon Mann (talk) 14:35, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

Philip Reeser. He is the Senior Editor at Rizzoli who oversaw this project. This is credited in the book itself (Page 5, Acknowledgments/Colophon).

Creative Director: Loni Landon. She curated the dancers and the creative vision (Verified on her site: https://www.lonilandonprojects.com/new-page ).

Producer: Jacob Levy. (Listed in the “Projects” section of his profile: https://app.stagetime.com/agents/jacob-levy ).

Designer: Robb Rice. (The book’s designer: http://www.robbriceblog.com/ ).

Thanks for the help and for being patient with me! Mark Simon Mann (talk) 14:35, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Mark Simon Mann. These are all important people- but unfortunately articles about books on Wikipedia don’t usually include detail about the editors and contributors unless they are the primary contributor. Sorry, so I will have to decline these additions, but not because I disagree they are not important contributors. qcne (talk) 16:36, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

thank you for your time and explanation appreciated best MM Mark Simon Mann (talk) 16:44, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

edit COI @qnce Thank you for your help, and I’m again declaring my COI on this page as I’m the creator of the book. I understand that my previous request for credits was rejected and why.

To add context regarding the book’s cultural reception, I propose adding a brief “Performance” section. When the book launched, we held an event at The Joyce Theater in NYC where over 30 performers from the book appeared. I’ve drafted the section below using a local CBS New York report as a reliable independent source.

Proposed Addition: To celebrate the publication of the monograph, a one-night-only performance titled ”Movement at the Still Point: An Evening of Dance” was held at The Joyce Theater on April 10, 2023. Coverage by CBS New York noted that the event featured multidisciplinary performances by dancers from the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Martha Graham Dance Company.

I have other references, but research suggests CBS is the strongest. Hope this is okay!

Best, Mark ~~~~

Hi @qnce
Im writing to request another addition as i have a conflict of interest as im the photographer of the book, After some research i understand its adds ” encyclopedic value ” to list some of the more notable dancers in the book, ive made a list of the most notable subjects who already have there own wikipedia pages , i was hoping if you thought it was relevant to add potentially a notable subjects section , thank you for your time as always

Sorry @Mark Simon Mann, missed this. This is complicated, as we can’t give undue weight by adding in lots of detail. Wikipedia articles should reflect what reliable secondary sources state, not everything that could be mentioned – people can just read the book to get that same information.
When writing the draft, I’d added in the few notable people who are directly referenced in the secondary sources.
If you have a secondary source that mentions a few of these folks we could look at working them in, but otherwise adding all notable people who appear in the book to the summary is usually WP:UNDUE. qcne (talk) 10:06, 9 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

understood and appreciated. Best M Mark Simon Mann (talk) 11:15, 9 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
may I ask you to look at something else for feedback ?

sorry if last question was an overstretch Mark Simon Mann (talk) 16:24, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Mark Simon Mann. Not at all – just been busy with my day-job. The draft about the Light Gallery actually looks okay, though I think it’s a bit verbose in parts. Your The New York Times also does not work. Do you have a replacement working source? qcne (talk) 18:51, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you again , i fixed NYT link and made the language a little less flowery..
