I am fully against this because they are clearly separate entities in their own right. It is of no relevance that the scale was mentioned in PiHKAL. Turkeyphant 14:52, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My Opinion
I think that a easy-to-find link to the Rating Scale in every Shulgin’s related page is enough for understanding how the effects are described by Alexander. Eric Castagna, —190.48.204.222 21:47, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The correct title of these books are PIHKAL and TIHKAL, with the “I” capitalized. Can we move the articles? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.54.201.38 (talk) 17:31, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This section needs some work, I think. Aside from the fact that none of it is cited, much of it comes across as POV (“supplement of the gods”). It also contains inappropriate speculation (e.g. hypothesizing why Shulgin considers PEA to be without effect). Finally, what exactly PEA is is never mentioned. I don’t possess the requisite knowledge to bring this section up to snuff; hopefully someone who does will be able to give it the improvements it needs. If somebody has a lot of time / nifty tools, the links to chemical pages may be added in the table (the pages can be found in the navbox). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.158.90.245 (talk) 20:15, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

These have now been added. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 02:05, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Recently, I have made an effort to create missing pages for PiHKAL entries that were previously redirects. Examples include the 2C-G-x, Ganesha-x, Aleph-x, TMA-x, and DMA-x series as well as MMDA-3a, MMDA-3b, 2T-MMDA-3a, 4T-MMDA-2, and Ψ-2C-T-4, which all now have their own pages. Before, many of them were redirecting to a primary compound or an index page. I have also done the same for the The Shulgin Index, for which all entries now have their own pages. In the case of PiHKAL however, there are still some missing/redirecting pages. As of writing, these include:

All of the individual compounds in the above list are currently redirecting to index pages but should have their own separate pages. In addition, once those pages are created, the index pages should be converted to simple chemistry set index lists, like the trimethoxyamphetamine page as an example.

I am not sure that I will be working further on these, at least for now. If anyone else would like to work on them however, please feel free. The help would be greatly appreciated. Once they’re done, along with TiHKAL and The Shulgin Index, PiHKAL on Wiki will finally be complete in terms of all its entries having their own pages. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 02:02, 30 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I’ve done some of the above pages and crossed them out. Still more that need to be done though. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 04:52, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
