Hi Bearcat, There’s currently a Move proposal at Section 33 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, to move it to Notwithstanding clause (Canada). So far, there’s only been three comments, from the proposed mover, me, and one other. I think for such a significant page, that’s not much discussion, and it should be relisted, but I appreciate that as an involved editor I should not do it. Is there a possibilty you can remove Pending Changes from Plantsbrook School a page you put indefinite pending changes back in 2014, as its been almost 8 years and the page history shows that the page isn’t edited enough that pending changes is required. When I looked up Leander Vyvey and saw no page existed, I tried creating one. I had never contributed to Wikipedia before. I genuinely like the platform so I spent a fair amount of time working on that page. When it was deleted, I didn’t really understand why (still don’t). Especially since the person has pages in other languages and verifiable work in both sport and acting.

I guess my message today was -somewhat clumsily, I admit- one last attempt at understanding where my contribution went wrong. The fact that I have only done one contribution, seems to make me guilty somehow but given the above, I admit I certainly feel discouraged of doing more. I wish it were different but I experienced little guidance, no sense of genuine willingness to help and criticism on my lack of understanding of, and contributions to, this platform. Also, who deleted anything? No mainspace article has ever existed about him, and the only page you’ve ever created about him was, and still is, in your user sandbox — the only thing I did was pull it out of categories, on WP:USERNOCAT grounds because sandbox pages aren’t allowed to be in categories. Hello, I recently wanted to publish an article in English about the German conductor and pianist Matthias Manasi. However, I found that this is not possible because restrictions apply to a possible article page for “Matthias Manasi.” I would like to clarify that I want to publish this article about Matthias Manasi in English for purely personal reasons. I do not know the conductor Matthias Manasi personally and have not been commissioned to publish an article about him. I am a music lover who has attended several opera performances and concerts conducted by Mr. Manasi in Polish opera houses in recent years, and I have always found his conducting and musical performances to be outstanding. Given the numerous leadership positions this conductor has held as chief conductor and music director at renowned orchestras and opera houses, and given his international activities as a guest conductor, I consider an article about this conductor in English to be justified and appropriate.
Here is my draft of an English Wikipedia article about the German conductor Matthias Manasi.

Hello Bearcat, unlike you I have not been able to locate Canadian Press articles cited in Montreal World Film Festival by searching within newspapers.com. I suspect that is because Canadian Press is not a newspaper. Yes, I know that sources do not need to be available on line. The reader should be able to determine from the citation where to attempt to verify the source supports the content. My understanding is that Canadian Press is a news service much like the AP. Various newspapers include material supplied by them while noting that it is a (Canadian Press Dispatch), (Canadian Press), or (Canadian Press Cable)… and perhaps others I haven’t found yet. I can find plenty of articles via newspapers.com that contain those notations. Citations for those articles should cite the newspaper rather than Canadian Press. When I search newspapers.com for one of the Canadian Press titles in the article nothing is found. Perhaps you can point me to a method that would work.
