== Question from [[User:Jammer0n|Jammer0n]] (19:34, 29 January 2026) ==
Hi Bagwe – couple questions
1. How do I link within a page? Or does the page need to be published first? I tried [[Pentecostal Youth Fellowship of America#PYFA_Conference]] but the link is all red
2. I submitted the article – but got rejected. What else can I add to make it better? Wanted to have a page to track history of this organization, which is now 45 years old. And make it a more of a community editted page where people can provide some more of the history from prior years. –[[User:Jammer0n|Jammer0n]] ([[User talk:Jammer0n|talk]]) 19:34, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Hello Bagwe Neza. Thank you for adding short descriptions to articles. Please remember to add birth and death dates when adding short descriptions to articles about people, per WP:SDDATES. Toadspike [Talk] 09:23, 6 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello Bagwe Neza. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia’s mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a “black hat” practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bagwe Neza. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bagwe Neza|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. asilvering (talk) 21:22, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @Asilvering. I am not being compensated for my edits and do not have a stake in promoting any topics. Please can you advise on what I am doing wrong so I could not cross that line again. Bagwe Neza (talk) 04:26, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

- here , this one. Mahmood8 (talk) 05:47, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Mahmood8,
- You just created it in wrong place. That is on your Talkpage which is only for discussions.
- Since you’re just starting out, the best way to learn how to create articles is to read and follow these guides:
- Notability guidelines: WP:N
- Using reliable sources: WP:RS
- Practicing in your sandbox: WP:SANDBOX
- Drafting and submitting new articles: WP:AFC
- Following these will give you a solid foundation. Thanks Bagwe Neza (talk) 06:09, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- Ohh right, i got it. But, i want to ask, that, where is that specific page/button where we can post an article ? Thanks for the above guidelines though. Mahmood8 (talk) 06:14, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Mahmood8, the usual way is to draft your article in your sandbox first: WP:SANDBOX. Once your draft is ready, you submit it through Articles for Creation: WP:AFC using Article Wizard. A reviewer will then check it and approve it if it meets Wikipedia’s notability WP:N and sourcing WP:RS guidelines. Bagwe Neza (talk) 06:28, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much Mahmood8 (talk) 06:38, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

oh also could i start my own wikipedia article thing or do i only get to edit things? —Evies70 (talk) 20:08, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello again@Evies70, New editors are encouraged to edit existing articles first to get familiar with Wikipedia. But if you feel confident, you can start drafting your article in your sandbox, and once it’s ready, submit it through Articles for Creation (WP:AFC). Bagwe Neza (talk) 05:53, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- hi! thanks that helps a lot, how would i find someone’s talk page if i do know their username? and thanks again Evies70 (talk) 02:17, 22 December 2025 (UTC)

How do i Put my biography? —Raphael Mbithi Munyui (talk) 05:38, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Raphael Mbithi Munyui, welcome to Wikipedia. If you mean your own biography, Wikipedia strongly discourages writing articles about yourself due to conflict of interest see, WP:COI. If you want a personal page, you can create a user page instead (about your editing interests, not promotion).
- If you’re writing a biography about someone else, it should be drafted in your sandbox and submitted via Articles for Creation WP:AFC, by following notability (WP:N) and reliable sources (WP:RS) guidelines. Bagwe Neza (talk) 06:12, 26 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Not sure how to edit but the Rotherfield page states that the more westerly river Rother is a tributary of the Adur; it actually runs into the Arun. —John Edwin Porter (talk) 22:30, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

Hello!
I trust you’re good, can you guide me on how to publish a musical artist profile? —Ahangba Tersoo S (talk) 11:56, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Ahangba Tersoo S, welcome!
- To publish a musical artist profile on Wikipedia, first make sure the artist meets notability guidelines for musicians (WP:MUSICBIO) and is covered by reliable, independent sources (WP:RS). Start by drafting the article in your sandbox, then submit it through Articles for Creation (WP:AFC) for review. Avoid writing about yourself or someone you have a close connection to (WP:COI). We are writing on behalf of Mahaveer Constructions, a real estate development company based in Hyderabad, India. We would like to request an update / review of information related to our company on Wikipedia —Mahaveer007 (talk) 05:57, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Mahaveer007, thanks for reaching out.
- Since you’re writing on behalf of the company, this is considered a conflict of interest (WP:COI). It’s best not to edit the article directly. Instead, please post your requested changes on the article’s Talk page, clearly explaining them and providing reliable, independent sources (WP:RS). An independent editor can then review and make the updates. Bagwe Neza (talk) 09:17, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

- Hi @EngelAniol.
- Even if you own the physical painting, the copyright belongs to the artist, not the owner. Wikipedia (via Wikimedia Commons) only accepts images that are freely licensed or public domain.
- If Francesco La Monaca has been deceased for more than 70 years, his works may be public domain, but this must be clearly demonstrated when uploading (date of death, source). Otherwise, the image will be rejected.
