2. I submitted the article – but got rejected. What else can I add to make it better? Wanted to have a page to track history of this organization, which is now 45 years old. Since you’re just starting out, the best way to learn how to create articles is to read and follow these guides:

Using reliable sources: WP:RS

Drafting and submitting new articles: WP:AFC

@Mahmood8, the usual way is to draft your article in your sandbox first: WP:SANDBOX. Once your draft is ready, you submit it through Articles for Creation: WP:AFC using Article Wizard. Even if you own the physical painting, the copyright belongs to the artist, not the owner. Wikipedia (via Wikimedia Commons) only accepts images that are freely licensed or public domain.

If Francesco La Monaca has been deceased for more than 70 years, his works may be public domain, but this must be clearly demonstrated when uploading (date of death, source). Otherwise, the image will be rejected.
