In the lens speciofication it quotes that the lens is “250mm 6 panel fourth order rotating optic (original). However, I have a scan of the original photo from 1881 that Chance Brothers used for promotional purposes, and this is clearly a 12-panel dioptric, first-order rotating lens. |
