Reform UK politician

Dan Thomas is a British Reform politician who has served as the Leader of Reform UK Wales since February 2026.

He previously served as the Conservative leader of the Barnet London Borough Council from 2019 until 2022, and leader of the opposition Conservative group on the council before his defection to Reform UK in June 2025.[1] Thomas later resigned from the council on 31 December 2025, leaving a vacant seat heading into the 2026 election.[2]

He was born in the South Wales Valleys, but moved away in 1999 before returning to Wales in 2026 as Leader of Reform UK Wales.[3]
