Eleventh edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup
Cricket tournament
The 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be the 11th edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup. It is scheduled to be hosted by
Australia and New Zealand in January 2028. It will First time when New Zealand will host Men’s T20 World Cup.[1]
The hosts, Australia and New Zealand, along with the top teams from the 2026 tournament will automatically qualified for the tournament. The remaining automatic qualification places will taken by the best-ranked teams in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings. The eight remaining places will be filled via the ICC’s regional qualifiers, consisting of two teams each from Africa and Europe, three teams combine from Asia and East Asia-Pacific and one from Americas.[2]
