Upcoming elections in TTAADC

The TTAADC elections are expected to be held in March–April 2026 to elect all 28 members of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.[1] 25 of the 28 elected seats in the Autonomous District Council are reserved for Scheduled Tribes.
The tenure of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council is scheduled to end on 18 April 2026.[2] The previous elections were held on 6 April 2021.[3] After the election Tipra Motha Party formed the government and Purna Chandra Jamatia sworn in as the Chief Executive Member.[4][5] The long 15 years ruling CPI(M) led Left Front were wiped out in the previous election.
