World Boxing News (World Boxing News abbr: WBN) is a British-based online boxing news website founded in 2010 by journalist Phil Jay.[1] The site publishes boxing-related news,[2] results,[3] interviews,[4] and opinion articles.[5]
World Boxing News was launched in 2010. It provides coverage of international boxing events and conducts interviews with current[6] and former professional boxers,[7] promoters, and other figures in the sport.[8][9]
In 2020, the Boxing Writers Association of America gave an honorable mention to World Boxing News editor Phil Jay in its annual writing contest, in the “Boxing Column” category.[10]
