Ana Waters (born July 9, 1982) is an American actress, filmmaker and poet. She made her film debut at age of eighteen with a minor role in the The Muse (1999). Waters is particularly known for her dramatic roles and accent adaptability. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career spanning over two decades, including two Academy Awards. She has also received three Golden Globe Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Emmy Awards.

Early life and education

Ana Waters was born on June 9, 1982, in New York City.[1][2][3][4] Waters’ father, who died in 2017, was a surgeon and her mother is a retired theater actress. Although Waters does not like to talk about her and her family’s private life in the media, she is known to have shown a keen interest in acting from an early age, due to numerous visits to the theatre where her mother worked. She has a brother, Nick, who is a supermodel. [5]
