Indian reality series
Rise and Fall is an Indian reality series streaming on Amazon MX Player, based on the British show of the same name. It premiered on 6 September 2025 and is hosted by Ashneer Grover.[1][2]
Contestants divided themselves into the “Rulers” and the “Workers“. While the Rulers lived in a luxury penthouse making the decisions, the Workers lived in the basement, carrying out tasks to win money for the prize pot.[1]

- ^1 : On Day 3, Rulers had to choose three workers who would become eligible to nominate for eviction.
- ^2 : On Day 6, Ultimate Ruler Nayandeep had the power to save a Ruler from the Fall and directly nominate a Ruler to Fall.
- ^3 : On Day 13, Each worker nominated three workers, and the Rulers had to mutually decide to cancel one of the three nominations. Lastly, Bali and Kubbra received equal number of votes and were tied, the Rulers had to mutually decide to nominate one of them, they chose Bali.
- ^4 : On Day 14, Aahana was eliminated but was saved by the Silver Suitcase.
- ^5 : On Day 18, Ultimate Ruler Arbaaz choose three workers Bali, Akriti and Arjun who mutually nominated three Rulers for the Fall.
- ^6 : On Day 18, Ultimate Ruler Arbaaz had three special powers; Block from Rise, Direct Nomination for Eviction and Block from Nominations process. He chose Arjun to block from Rise, Directly nominated Bali for eviction and chose Akriti to block from Nominations process.
- ^7 : On Day 19, In nomination process, Bali being nominated started the chain until four workers were nominated.
- ^8 : On Day 19, Ultimate Ruler Nayandeep had the power to nominate a worker for Eviction.
- ^8 : On Day 24, Wildcard contestant Manisha had a special power to directly nominate a worker for Eviction. She chose Bali.
- ^10 : On Day 26, In nomination process, Firstly worker nominated one among themselves followed by Rulers nominating one and lastly workers again nominating one worker.
- ^11 : On Day 33, In the first three rounds of nominations process, the workers had to mutually decide and nominate one worker in each round. In the fourth round, the Rulers had to mutually decide and nominate a worker.
- ^12 : Arbaz won “Ticket to Finale” task against Bali.
Reception
According to Variety, the series had a strong opening week and received positive response.[3][4] However, The Indian Express found the show confusing.[5]
