American actor (born 1978)
Brooke Markham (born February 15, 1988) [1]is an American actress, producer and writer, best known for her portrayal of Jessica ‘Jess’ Damon in The CW television series In The Dark.
Brooke Markham trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts graduating with an MFA in Acting.
Markham has an established acting career, but has always had a deep love for writing. Her pilot “Demolition” won several awards last year including Best TV Pilot at the City of Angels Women’s Film Festival.
Her TV credits as an actor include starring roles in: In The Dark for the CW, Amazon Studios, A Kid Called Mayonnaise, Cassandra French’s Finishing School for the Audience Network & Hulu’s, Foursome.
On the film side, Markham can next be seen in the indie A Great Divide starring Ken Jeong, directed by Jean Shim. Other credits include, the Sundance hit Deidra & Laney Rob A Train opposite Missi Pyle, the Netflix original Dude for director Olivia Milch, and Friend Request for director Simon Verhoeven.
Brooke is a founding member of the classical theatre company, The Wet Mariners.[2]
