I am very confused by what company owns what brand, who actually manufactures what, and why everything is called KTM. Could be that I’m simply frustrated by a bunch of corporate “find the object under the cups” games; to me KTM is KTM is KTM. The brand is what people pay attention to, not whoever owns whatever corporate title on this specific day. This article needs a lot more clarity in general and significantly more information about the bicycle division.

Who wrote the off road motorcycles section? It is the most confusing English I have ever read, “The suspension of the KTM is softer and slightly than the XC line” first of all what is slightly supposed to mean in this context and how can you compare the overall make of bike with one of the models? I tried editing it a bit but I had to give up because it was annoying me too much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.109.189.248 (talk • contribs) 07:04, October 30, 2006

Pierer Mobility AG seems to be an important force in the motorcycle industry, yet there is no article on them in Wikipedia. Let me start by pointing you to their website: Pierer Mobility website in English. Their partner in KTM is Bajaj Auto which does have an entry. John Do’h 14:03, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
