American actress (b. 2000)
Chase Infiniti Payne (born May 5, 2000), known professionally as Chase Infiniti, is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the Apple TV+ limited series Presumed Innocent (2024) and the Paul Thomas Anderson epic action thriller One Battle After Another (2025).
Infiniti uses her middle name professionally. She was named after the Batman Forever (1995) character Chase Meridian, played by Nicole Kidman, and Buzz Lightyear‘s line “To infinity and beyond” from Toy Story (1995).[1] Infiniti was born and raised in Indianapolis.[2] Infiniti graduated from North Central High School in 2018, where she was extensively involved in the school’s music and theatre programs.[3] Her father, Keith Irvin Payne, owns a construction company, and her mother is Kimberly Dawn Able. She has a younger sister, Dolce Imani.[1] Infiniti auditioned for a school musical at age 10.[4] She attended and graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2022.[5] In Chicago, she was a trainer in kickboxing, as well as a co-founder of K-pop cover dance group Duple Dance Crew.[1]
In February 2023, Infiniti was added to the cast of the Apple TV+ television series Presumed Innocent.[6] In February 2024, she joined the cast of Paul Thomas Anderson‘s action epic thriller One Battle After Another playing the daughter of a former revolutionary played by Leonardo DiCaprio.[7] Infiniti sent her self-tape for One Battle After Another during filming of Presumed Innocent. Her callback included her in a karate class with Anderson present; despite being the only beginner in the class, Anderson cast her on the spot once the class was done. Tyler, the Creator cast her for his music video for “Darling, I” after seeing Infiniti in a trailer for the film.[8]
She will next star in The Testaments, a sequel series to Hulu‘s The Handmaid’s Tale.[9] Showrunner Bruce Miller cast Infiniti after watching her in Presumed Innocent and her K-pop dance covers, attributing to her versatility.[8]
In October 2025, Infiniti joined the cast of the coming-of-age drama, The Julia Set, filming in London. Infiniti will play Julia, a talented mathematician who is asked to join an elite prep course for the most challenging math exam in the world. Infiniti will star alongside Christopher Briney, Gillian Anderson, and Jason Isaacs.[10]
Infiniti was named one of Variety‘s annual “10 Actors to Watch” at the Newport Beach Film Festival on October 19, 2025.[11][12]
