Rail system in the United States
The Spring Garden Swing Bridge is a bridge that crosses over the Patapsco River in South Baltimore near the former Western Maryland Railroads, Port Covington & Interstate 95.
The Spring Garden Swing Bridge was developed for the Western Maryland Railway in 1902 to serve the port of Covington. This yard was huge with many miles of track throughout the bay & estuary. The bridge would rotate to let ships get through.
