This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Albums and songs. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:

  1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace “PageName” with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
  2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Albums and songs|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
Removing a closed AfD discussion
Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
Other types of discussions
You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Albums and songs. For the other XfD’s, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
Further information
For further information see Wikipedia’s deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

There is no indication of notability per WP:NALBUMS, therefore suitable for deletion. Alternatively it could be merged into the artist article Master P since it is essentially just a track listing per Wikipedia:Notability (albums). Hzh (talk) 10:58, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Country/southern rock EP of questionable notability. A redirect to the artist, Jason C. Miller, is an ATD. JTtheOG (talk) 20:21, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • I started the article because it was the first solo album of a notable musician. While the album may not have gain notability on its own over the years, I feel the article should remain due to its significance to the artist’s career change from group to solo artist. In the interest of full disclosure, my opinion on this matter can be seen as biased because I am the creator of the cover art for this album. Esaba (talk) 01:16, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You need reliable sources to back up its existence. Reviews of it go a long way MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:38, 4 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This album most certainly exists, but there seems to be very little coverage of it. The closest I could find was that some books, such as [1], do make passing mention to its cover of “1999”. Nothing beyond that as far as I could find. However, there is a chance that sources on this album are just hard to find due to “dot-com” and “residents” being common terms, leading to irrelevant results. No reliable source seems to cover this album. The given references do not affirm its notability. Kingsacrificer (talk) 13:37, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article doesn’t met the criteria of notability. Reviews available make a brief mention of the song.

It did enter some charts upon the album release but so did the other songs and non of those charts positions were impressive. Not released as a single and has not win any award MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:26, 1 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect/selective merge per WP:NSONG to Rosie (Rosé album), which states that “Songs and singles are probably notable if they have received significant coverage as the subject of multiple, non-trivial published works whose sources are independent of the artist and label”. As the nomination notes, the reviews that cover this song mention it in the context of the album, which already has a Wikipedia article. So insofar as we think this song might be notable because of its coverage in those reviews (not a certain question), it should be covered at Rosie (Rosé album) per WP:PAGEDECIDE. Cited entirely to WP:PRIMARY sources. Not clear a compilation album of this type is encyclopedic. Fails WP:GNG.4meter4 (talk) 02:53, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think we would need something other than WP:PRIMARY sources as well. Fundamentally, we need to demonstrate that there is WP:SECONDARY coverage of some kind.4meter4 (talk) 13:29, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Fails WP:NALBUM; only found 1 article about the album in a BEFORE, the others are just passing mentions. Should be redirected to Cupcakke. paintdvd 21:15, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Cupcakke: I also couldn’t find any additional notability. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 18:09, 1 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
