2025 South Korean Netflix series
As You Stood By (Korean: 당신이 죽였다) is a 2025 South Korean Netflix original series written by Kim Hyo-jeong, directed by Lee Jeong-rim, and starring Jeon So-nee, Lee Yoo-mi, Jang Seung-jo, and Lee Moo-saeng. Based on Hideo Okuda’s 2014 novel Naomi and Kanako.
The first two episodes of the series premiered at the 30th Busan International Film Festival on the ‘On Screen’ section in September 18, 2025. It will be available on Netflix to stream on November 7, 2025.[2]
The series follows two women who, trapped in a brutal reality where survival demands either killing or being killed, choose to kill, but soon find themselves caught in a twist of fate they never saw coming.

On September 18, 2024 Netflix confirmed the production of the series based on Hideo Okuda‘s 2014 novel Naomi and Kanako.[3] The main cast of the series, Jeon So-nee, Lee Yu-mi, Jang Seung-jo, and Lee Moo-saeng was confirmed as they participated in script reading, reported on September 19, 2024.[4]
Lee Ho-jung joined the cast as detective Noh Jin-young.[5]
In January 2025, it was reported that Ghost Studios would co-produce the series.[6]
