The Communist Party of India (Marxist Leninist) Revolutionary Initiative, or briefly as CPI(ML) RI, was a communist party in India, formed by a breakaway faction from Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Red Star, in December 2023 in Chennai.
They elected a 24-member Central Organising Committee, and a 10-member Core Committee, with Pradip Singh Thakur as Secretary.[1]
In September 2022, during the 12th Party Congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Red Star, 52 delegates out of 260 registered delegates broke away and established Revolutionary Initiative.[2]
