2025 studio album by De La Soul
Cabin in the Sky is the ninth studio album by American hip-hop group De La Soul, released on November 21, 2025. It is the group’s first album since the death of member Trugoy the Dove, who died in 2023, and features previously unreleased vocals from him.[7]
Background
In March 2025, De La Soul teased that they would be reuniting with their former producer Prince Paul for a new album.[8][9] They previously collaborated with him on their first three albums.
On April 16, 2025, Mass Appeal announced a series titled Legend Has It…, which features seven albums coming in 2025 from various artists such as: Nas and DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, De La Soul, Big L, and Slick Rick.[10][11]
The album was released on November 21, 2025.[12]
