To clarify, deletion discussions aren’t about the article being bad; they’re debates on whether there are enough reliable sources (mostly news articles, usually) to write a full article about it currently in existence. But, basically, I’d use this advice page: if you can find 2 or 3 somewhat-lengthy news articles on the band, that are independent of it, not reprints of press releases, and not interviews then that’ll probably satisfy the notability criteria and win you the AfD.
