Hello, SemandoPrometheus!

I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Getting Started

Tutorial
Learn everything you need to know to get started.

The Teahouse
Ask questions and get help from experienced editors.

The Task Center
Learn what Wikipedians do and discover how to help. Has a list of maintenance tasks you can do.

Tips
  • Don’t be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It’s normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don’t worry if you don’t understand everything at first—it’s fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article’s talk page. Be civil, and don’t restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Welcome to Wikipedia, SemandoPrometheus! I’m Ozzie10aaaa, and I’ve been assigned as your mentor. All new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I’m here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I’m glad you’re here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It’s recommended that you take advantage of this, as it’ll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the “Get editing help” button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

Information icon Hi SemandoPrometheus! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Anthony Meindl and marked it as “minor”, but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, “minor edit” refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. BlueboyLINY (talk) 21:13, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
