Maharaja of Ayodhya
Maharaja Sir Pratap Narayan Singh Bahadur, K.C.I.E , also known as Maharaja Dwijraj Mishra (1855-1906), was the king of the Mishra dynasty of Ayodhya.[1] He succeeded to the throne upon the death of his maternal grandfather, Maharaja Sir Man Singh Bahadur.[2] Maharaja Pratap Narayan Singh is also a Member of the Imperial Legislative Council and Life President of the Taluqdar’s British Indian Association, a Member of the Royal Asiatic Society, Calcutta, &c. &c.[3][4] The Mishra’s Empire was able to maintain the concept of Ram Rajya.
