:Alkama group is not a business or company, it is a group of weavers from Banaras Harsos village, my great grand father Mr. Jokhan was the head of the family and alkama group is the group of weavers from that village. It was never a company or business just a just a non-profit community and I Alkama Ansari, I am from that weavers family who migrated from Persia to Gujarat durian Mughal era and later migrated to Varanasi (Kasi) and who invented the world famous craftsmaship of Banarasi Silk. My only motive is to aware the world about the real conditions of the weavers, business people and traders are just taking advantages from us for generations, but weavers are still in a phase of earning just 2 times a mile, brands claim that they are connected and support the weavers, but on ground, realities are far. Even I’m writing a book myself for the entire topic of these truths and ground realities and I’m gonna mention the deep-rooted details about the threads from color dying to weaving processes and transformation of technologies in loom and weaving techniques. I know you’re not gonna help anyway. It’s ok, I’ll find my way I can’t let my people to survive more like this. And looking for the help of the Historians from Banaras Hindu University.

I am requesting an unblock and a username change. My previous edits were not intended as advertising or promotion. I was documenting the cultural history of the Banarasi weaving community, including community struggles, weaving methods, and historical developments, all supported by published sources. My intention was to share verified historical information about the weaving tradition.

I did include information about my ancestors and a community-owned group founded by weavers. I now understand that this may appear as a conflict of interest because of my personal connection to that history. My purpose, however, was educational and cultural, not promotional.

I also understand that my current username “Alkamagroup” may look like a business or organizational account, which is not allowed under Wikipedia’s username policy. I apologize for the misunderstanding and request a username change to “Alkamaansari”.

If unblocked, I will follow all Wikipedia policies, avoid editing topics where I have a personal connection, and will focus on neutral, reliably sourced contributions about the broader weaving tradition.
