Sporting event delegation
Uganda competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Uganda sent a delegation of 25 competitors across three sports ( athletics, boxing, weightlifting ), how ever a team of 25 competitors didn’t win any medal. The flag bearer for the team was a boxer called Patrick Lihanda. Uganda’s participation in Seoul marked a return to the Olympics after boycotting the 1976 Games and its participation in 1980 and 1984.
