Annette Gozon-Valdez (born November 3, 1973) – is the President of GMA Worldwide and GMA Pictures, GMA Network Senior Vice President, film producer, a practicing lawyer, college law professor and actress.
Early life and education

Gozon was born on November 3, 1973 to Felipe Gozon, a lawyer and Board Member Chairman of GMA Network and Theresa “Tessie” Gozon.[1] She is the eldest daughter with two younger siblings, Philipp Gozon, a lawyer and Marites Gozon-Vitebro, a medical doctor.[2]
She graduated valedictorian in elementary and high school from Colegio San Agustin – Makati. In college, she took up Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering in Ateneo de Manila University and graduated cum laude in 1992.[3]
Gozon obtained Bachelor of Law degree and graduated cum laude and valedictorian in University of the Philippines – College of Law.[4]
She graduated Masters degree of law in Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.[5]
Gozon was separated and annulled from her first husband, when she was in her 40s.[6]
In 2016, she married former actor and businessman Shintaro Valdes on July 24, 2016.[7] She was an associate professor of University of the Philippines – College of Law and taught taxation and legal history.[8]
