The article is new enough, long enough, well-sourced, neutral, and free of copyright violations, and presentable. I support ALT1 and ALT2, as ALT0 is very vague. There is nothing wrong with both of the hooks I supported, as they are short, interesting, and well-sourced. The image, meanwhile, has a proper license. - It’s the language used by the activists and the sources, and I don’t think it comes across as transphobic at all. (Also, something can’t “come across” as non-neutral, it can either comply with NPOV or not; we don’t censor DYK hooks on vibes.) I’ll also throw out:
- ALT0b: … that transgender activists started a campaign to “hijack” the lobster emoji?
