==General observations== |

You might sometimes see my name being mentioned when it comes to this user. I’ve been dealing with them for many years and wrote this page as a result. In general we can usually maintain a peaceful truce with this user, using the edit filter, and an occasional bit of forgiveness (for occasionally telling us to fuck off). However when they are feeling hassled the levels of disruption significantly increase, and it can take months for them to calm down again. There are usually three triggers which set them off: |
*in one scenario they will just add “fuck of zzuuzz” (or similar) to the sandbox. The edit filter will usually prevent them doing any more. If this is ignored they will eventually stop and return to resetting the sandbox. If it is not ignored then things can soon escalate. As it happens, they can usually reset the sandbox in an appropriate way, but left unattended they will do it too much. This is handled very well by the edit filter. The bots which clean the sandbox also help. |
*In the second scenario, they will warn someone who is disrupting the sandbox (in their opinion). They will usually say, “don’t vandalise sandbox” on the user’s talk page. Sometimes this is entirely appropriate, however this will often be removed, then restored, then removed, then the abuse arrives, along with warnings and templates from regular users, and often both users will be blocked. |
*In the third scenario, they will be warned or blocked for block evasion, or triggering the edit filter. This has a snowball effect usually resulting in significantly more disruption. |

So my advice generally is to leave this user completely alone. They are completely obsessive about the sandbox. This page mainly exists not to get them blocked, but to warn people to ignore them whenever possible. — [[user:zzuuzz|zzuuzz]] [[user_talk:zzuuzz|(talk)]] 13:08, 25 July 2019 (UTC) |

There are usually three triggers which set them off:
- in one scenario they will just add “fuck of zzuuzz” (or similar) to the sandbox.
- In the second scenario, they will warn someone who is disrupting the sandbox (in their opinion). They will usually say, “don’t vandalise sandbox” on the user’s talk page. Sometimes this is entirely appropriate, however this will often be removed, then restored, then removed, then the abuse arrives, along with warnings and templates from regular users, and often both users will be blocked.
- In the third scenario, they will be warned or blocked for block evasion, or triggering the edit filter. This has a snowball effect usually resulting in significantly more disruption.
So my advice generally is to leave this user completely alone. They are completely obsessive about the sandbox. This page mainly exists not to get them blocked, but to warn people to ignore them whenever possible. — zzuuzz (talk) 13:08, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
