@Ad Orientem, Liz, and OwenX: I give up. It is clear a constructive discussion cannot be had here. How disheartening, —Another Believer (Talk) 13:50, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- I don’t think that’s a fair accusation. So far, you seem to be the only one who refuses to engage with others here, with your repeated “LEAVE ME ALONE!” comments. If you are willing to engage in a serious, level-headed debate about the subject, you can open an RfC at Talk:RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, where the general notability of single episode and single contestant articles can be debated calmly, based on our guidelines, rather than on accusations of personal gripes. If you approach it that way, I have no doubt that Woodensuperman would be happy to discuss the merits of the issue with you. Until then, however, we are not going to put work on the topic on hold just because you don’t wish to be notified about it. Owen× ☎ 14:05, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- @OwenX I’ve not refused to engage. I’ve begged to have a measured discussion about this, but instead I just log in to deletion notification after deletion notification by the dozens. Some of these articles have already survived AfD multiple times. I would love to have an actual discussion about this, but I do not feel like that’s being reciprocated. I think nominating dozens of articles at once is unfair and a strain on the system, but no one else seems bothered so I guess I’ll just watch the stack of cards fall. —Another Believer (Talk) 14:13, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- I’m glad to see that you are already engaged in actual discussion about this, over at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television#RuPaul’s_Drag_Race_franchise_episodes_and_notability. Editors like Woodensuperman, Reywas92, MikeAllen, and Gonnym aren’t out to get you. They are hard-working contributors who are focused on quality rather than quantity. They are listening and responding to your concerns, while adhering to our notability guidelines. Work with them to reach a consensus that is in line with our P&G. Owen× ☎ 14:55, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- I agree, but I am also a hard-working contributor who understands notability criteria and wants to see a path forward that’s not AFD AFD AFD AFD AFD. It does feel like select editors are out to get me, but I’m trying to understand and propose a constructive way to continue this work. —Another Believer (Talk) 15:02, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- Excellent! I fully support your work on a constructive way forward. Ignore the AfDs for now. Almost anything deleted or redirected can be restored, if there’s consensus to do so. Owen× ☎ 15:08, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- I don’t plan on revisiting the AfD discussions. I find those totally unnecessary and distracting from the real conversations that should be had. —Another Believer (Talk) 15:12, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- @OwenX – As the discussions seem to be heading in the right direction, in your role as admin, are you able to close the nominations I made today as withdrawn pending outcome of discussion, which looks to be heading down the draftifying route anyway. Obviously if they’ve had input from anyone else, they will need to stay open. —woodensuperman 15:24, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- Acknowledging the ping. As productive discussion appears to be in progress, I don’t see any need for my further involvement here and I have nothing to add to the comment I left yesterday. Best regards… –Ad Orientem (talk) 15:39, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Woodensuperman: If you are the nominator, and no Delete views were entered, you are allowed to close your own AfD as withdrawn, per WP:NACD and WP:SK. Let me know if you need any help with that. Owen× ☎ 15:47, 20 November 2025 (UTC)

@Ad Orientem, Gonnym, Liz, and OwenX: I took it upon myself to move all of the RPDR articles to the draft space. I then started working to improve entries, and I’ve already been successful in having multiple drafts accepted at Articles for Creation. The drafts have been accepted by different editors, so clearly there are others who think these entries have value. I am doing exactly what was asked of me, yet I’m still logging in to notification after notification of redirecting and tagging for deletion (including this article, which was recently accepted and has already survived a deletion discussion). This feels overly aggressive and unnecessary. It is so obvious to me that there are many notable episodes of the show, but one editor is going out of their way to make sure I make no progress in this area of the project. Please help. —Another Believer (Talk) 16:24, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Great to see all the good work you’re doing, Another Believer!
- In a collaborative project, contributors will always differ in their views. There is nothing “aggressive” in tagging or nominating a page someone believes doesn’t belong here. In the end, it’s the community, not any individual, who decide on the fate of the page. Don’t get distracted or discouraged by such actions. Work with the AfC reviewers who accepted your draft, as well as with those tagging or nominating the articles you wrote. Remember, they aren’t targeting you; they’re trying to improve the encyclopedia, just like you are.
- Also, don’t focus on just one topic. I’m sure there are many articles that can benefit from your attention. Don’t turn yourself into a single-purpose editor. Owen× ☎ 17:02, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- I’m sorry if you’re feeling targeted. That isn’t my intention. The other articles that have been recreated and submitted through AfC seem to have something exceptional about them, they’ve won awards, etc., and I would suggest an award winning episode should usually meet any notability issues. But I’m just not seeing it with this one. There is nothing remarkable about this episode, in fact, looking at the reviews, it seems it might be a bit mediocre. WP:NEPISODE sets a pretty high bar for individual episodes. To use an example for scripted television, look at how few Friends episodes meet this standard. All I’m seeing here is WP:ROUTINE coverage, nothing that sets it apart, which is why I think we need to have the discussion. As Owen says, the community will decide, not simply me or you. —woodensuperman 17:34, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- So, I can move the articles about episodes that have won awards back into the main space? —Another Believer (Talk) 17:37, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Again, not for me to decide, probably best to continue the path agreed at with other editors at the TV project, and submit to AfC. But my personal view is that award winning episodes are likely to be notable. —woodensuperman 17:41, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, sure. In the meantime, I would appreciate if you would stop making me feel like no matter what I do is wrong. I am trying to do good work here and there are other editors who see value in my efforts. I’ve expressed how your actions are making me feel and you continue to lean in hard. Please let me continue to work in peace. —Another Believer (Talk) 17:48, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Equally there are other editors who are also finding a lot of the Drag Race articles aren’t notable. It’s a collaborative project so “letting you work in peace” isn’t in the spirit of things when other editors outside of the Drag Race project are disagreeing with you. Maybe you should consider a wikibreak if you are feeling like this. —woodensuperman 17:54, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Another Believer,
I was just wondering, why did you empty out all of the season categories in Category:RuPaul’s Drag Race episodes? I haven’t read the collapsed message above this one but I will do so after I post this. I wish you wouldn’t collapse discussions though as it makes them difficult to read. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:34, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Liz Some editors at WikiProject Television insisted that essentially none of the Drag Race episodes are notable. I strongly disagree but felt I had no choice but to move all of the articles to the draft space. If I hadn’t, someone else would have. I think the entire thing is completely unnecessary and uncalled for, but my requests to keep content in the main space fell on deaf ears. I know many of the episodes are notable, but I’m not going to argue with editors about it, so I’ll get back to building content. —Another Believer (Talk) 23:40, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
- Also, I collapsed the above discussion in an attempt to move on. If you want the fuller picture, you’d need to review this page history to see the many AfD notifications, my requests to be left alone, and other discussions I’ve removed (again, I’m trying to move on and get back to work). Thanks —Another Believer (Talk) 00:15, 22 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi there, Another Believer, and thanks for all your support in this area. I have mentioned this on the WiR talk page and on Talk:Art+Feminism. You might be able to help in contacting those responsible for the project and inviting them to react. In particular, it would be useful to find the Wikipedia user names of Nina Yeboah, Bisagna Suh and Miranda Pratt.
