Semi-retired

Hi. I’m letting the community know that I’m semi-retiring on Wikipedia. It means I’ll be reducing my level of volunteering-I won’t be as active in editing, and discussions as I’ve been in the past. However, I’m not leaving entirely; I’ll remain around occasionally, contributing when I have time or when something interests me. I’ll also remain active on Commons. While I’ll be less active oj WIkipeida, I’ll be focusing on other commitments, setting up more personal boundaries, and focusing on areas where I feel that I can make the most impact. Semi-retirement gives me flexibility to stay connected to the community while I adjust my involvement to fit my time so that I find it more suitable.
As a result of the semi-retirment, my responses may be significantly slower, and I’ll likely be unavailable for ongoing or new requests. That said, I value the volunteering and knowledge-sharing that make Wikipedia such a unique encyclopedic place, and I look forward to remain in a lighter capacity. Thank you for your understanding.
