Amb. Otunba Adejare Rewane Adegbenro (born 26 March 1973) is a Nigerian security expert, diplomat, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is known for his business ventures, philanthropic activities and involvement in security and diplomatic initiatives.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Early life and family
Adegbenro was born on 26 March 1973 in Lagos, Nigeria.[1] He is a member of the Adegbenro family. Media accounts describe him as a grandson of Chief Dauda Soroye Adegbenro, a political leader in the Western Region, and Pa Alfred Rewane, a businessman and pro-democracy activist.[7]

Business
Adegbenro has been reported as chairman and managing director of Balmoral International Limited, a company engaged in import and trade.[1] Media profiles note that he has worked in private business and established commercial ventures.[1][8]
Diplomatic and security roles
Press coverage indicates that Adegbenro has been associated with diplomatic and security-related activities. In 2020, he was reported to have been appointed a High Commissioner by the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC).[9][10]
In January 2025, he was announced as the Country Director (United Kingdom) for the International Society of Diplomats (ISD).[11][12]
Philanthropy
