Indian actor and model

Bharath Sagar (born 26 September 1990) is an Indian actor and model who appears in Kannada cinema.[1] He played the lead role in the 2025 film Kalave Mosagaara.[2]

Early life and education

Sagar was born in Bhadravathi, Shivamogga district, Karnataka, India.[3] He completed schooling at Jnana Shyadri School and H. Shivalingappa School, and pre-university studies at Lal Bahadur College, Sagara. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, and a Master of Pharmacy from Mallige College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru.[3]

He trained in theatre with the BHARA troupe under Sashidhar Barighat and later with the Thadarupi group mentored by Mounesh Bariga.[3]

Sagar began his career in modelling and theatre before appearing in Kannada-language films. He had a supporting role in Aatakkuntu Lekkakkilla (2019) and later appeared in Mayanagari (2023).[3]

In 2025, he portrayed the lead character, Kittu, in Kalave Mosagaara, directed by Sanjay S Puranic.[2][1] The film was covered in regional and national media during its June 2025 release period, and Sagar participated in promotional activities including college visits and interviews.[4]

As of 2025, Sagar has not publicly disclosed information about his marital status. Published profiles note interests including carrom, farming, business ventures, and dancing.[3]
