Upcoming South Korean television series
Boyfriend on Demand (Korean: 월간남친) is an upcoming South Korean romantic comedy television series written by, directed by Kim Jung-sik, and starring Jisoo and Seo In-guk. It is scheduled for release on Netflix in 2026.
Seo Mi-rae, who is a webtoon producer, experiences burnout and seeks a way to find romance without complications of real-life relationships. She then discovers a unique virtual dating app, which allows her to immerse herself in a virtual world where she can meet her ideal matches and interact with a very large number of virtual boyfriends.
Cast and characters

The series was supposed to be a MBC drama but was later developed as a Netflix originals.[1] Director Kim Jung-sik, who helmed Work Later, Drink Now series (2021–2023) and No Gain No Love (2024), took the megaphone.[2]
On August 29, 2024, it was reported that Jisoo received an offer to star as the female lead for the series.[3] On September 10, Seo In-guk was reported to take the male lead role.[4]
On February 12, 2025, Gong Min-jeung was reportedly cast and this would be her first work after giving birth.[5] On February 19, Jisoo and Seo were confirmed their appearances.[2] On April 7, Kim Ah-young joined the cast.[6]
In Feruary 2025, both lead actors were seen filming in Cebu, Philippines.[7]
Boyfriend on Demand was reportedly scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2026.[1]
