Namibian beauty pageant titleholder
Cassia Sharpley is a Namibian medical support staff, social activist, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Namibia 2022. She represented Namibia at the Miss Universe 2022 and will also represent Namibia at Miss Cosmo 2025 in Vietnam.[1]
Sharpley was born and raised in Windhoek. She worked as a basic life support paramedic and studied for a bachelor’s degree in emergency medicine at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. She also attended Evangel Christian Academy.
Sharpley began her pageant career as a teenager in 2017, placing 1st Runner-up at the Miss Teen Namibia 2017. On June 23, 2018, Sharpley represented Namibia at the Miss Teen Continental 2018 pageant at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, competing against eight other contestants. She did not place first but won the Best Interview award.
On 12 August 2022, Sharpley competed alongside 12 other contestants in the finals of the Miss Namibia 2022 pageant at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino in Windhoek. She won the title and was succeeded by Chelsi Shikongo.[2]
Sharpley represented Namibia at Miss Universe 2022 but did not place.[3][4]
She was appointed as the first Miss Cosmo Namibia and will represent the country at Miss Cosmo 2025.
