Sporting event delegation
Chinese Taipei will compete at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from 6 to 22 February 2026.
The following is the list of number of competitors participating at the Games per sport/discipline.
Chinese Taipei has so far qualified one female alpine skier through the basic quota.[1][2]
Cross-country skiing
[edit]
For the first time since the nation’s last appearance at Sarajevo 1984, Chinese Taipei has qualified one male and one female cross-country skier through the basic quota so far and marking the nation’s return to the sport.[3][4] Following the completion of the 2024–25 FIS Cross-Country World Cup, Chinese Taipei has also qualified an additional one female athlete, however they do not (as of 23 March 2025) have any eligible athletes to fill these additional quotas.[5]
Chinese Taipei has qualified one male figure skater, Li Yu-hsiang, through the ISU Skate to Milano Figure Skating Qualifier 2025 in Beijing, China.[6][7] This is very first time a Taiwan-grown athlete qualified the winter Olympics and only male attendant for 27 years. The last male skater from the nation was David Liu, who participated the event in 1998.
