Annual Christmas ships parade in Portland, Oregon, U.S.
The Christmas Ships Parade, or Christmas Ship Parade,[1] is an annual Christmas ships parade in Portland, Oregon, United States. The tradition was established by a single boat in 1954.[2] The 70th annual parade season was held in 2024.[3] The Christmas Ships Parade is the longest continuously operating illuminated boat parade in the United States. Brightly decorated boats parade 15 nights on the Willamette and Columbia Rivers in the the Greater Portland-Vancouver Metro area each December.
