The ”’Ennis Faughs”’ won the 1945 [[Clare Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship|Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship]]. The ”Ennis Faughs” also won the 1946 [[Clare Intermediate Football Championship]], defeating [[Kilmihil GAA|Kilmihil]] in the final by 4-05 to 1-01. After gaining promotion to the [[Clare Senior Football Championship]], the ”Ennis Faughs” beat [[Cooraclare GAA|Cooraclare]], [[Kilrush Shamrocks GAA|Kilrush Shamrocks]], and the reigning champions [[O’Curry’s GAA (Clare)|O’Curry’s]], on their way to the county final, where they defeated [[Doonbeg GAA|Clohanes]] by 0-07 to 1-03 to win the [[1947 Clare Senior Football Championship]]. The ”Ennis Faughs” won back-to-back titles in [[1948 Clare Senior Football Championship|1948]], defeating [[O’Curry’s GAA (Clare)|O’Curry’s]] in the county final. When the [[Éire Óg, Inis GAA|Ennis Dalcassians]] became [[Éire Óg, Inis GAA|Éire Óg]] in 1952, they continued to compete in the [[Clare Senior Football Championship]] with the help of [[St Joseph’s Doora-Barefield GAA|Doora-Barefield]] players. The ”Ennis Faughs” contested four consecutive county finals from [[1952 Clare Senior Football Championship|1952]] to [[1955 Clare Senior Football Championship|1955]], winning both the [[1952 Clare Senior Football Championship|1952]] and [[1954 Clare Senior Football Championship|1954]] county finals against [[Kilrush Shamrocks GAA|Kilrush Shamrocks]]. The Cusack Cup is an annual GAA club competition organised by the Clare County Board between the top gaelic football clubs in County Clare, Ireland. It is the top division of the Clare Club Football League.
The current (2025) champions are Éire Óg, Ennis who defeated their neighbours and local rivals St. Joseph’s, Doora-Barefield by 3-19 to 0-14 after extra time, to win their first title since 2003, and fifth overall.
