Dart is a software platform used for project management.[1][2][3][4][5] It is used to automate processes such as project planning, task assignment, and report generation in project management.[6][7][8][9]
Overview
Dart was founded in 2022, and participated in Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch.[10] It was founded by Milad Malek and Zack Swafford and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.[11][12][13][14][15] Dart’s platform provides artificial intelligence (AI) based tools for workflow management and task automation.[16][17][18][19][20][21]
In 2022, it received seed funding from investors including Y Combinator, Soma Capital, and Plug and Play Ventures.[22][23]
Initially, the platform focused on basic task tracking for startups within the Y Combinator community. By 2024, additional features were added to the platform. [24][25][26][27][28][29][30]
By 2025, Dart added integrated AI chat and AI agents to its platform, enabling users to manage projects through a chat interface and assign agents to carry out tasks.[20][12]
