History

2Modern was founded in 2003 by Greg Finney.^[1] The company began as an early e-commerce furniture retailer, shipping furniture orders online from its inception.^[1]

Recognition

In 2023, Home Accents Today named 2Modern as one of its “Retail Stars”.^[1]

Newsweek listed 2modern.com in its annual online rankings in the Home Living Furniture category in 2024 and 2025.^[2][3]
