Ajeromi General Hospital is a public healthcare facility in Lagos State, Nigeria, under the management of the Lagos State Health Service Commission.[citation needed] Established in April 1983 by the administration of Alhaji L. K. Jakande as a health center, it was upgraded to a general hospital on March 12, 2004, during the tenure of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The hospital serves Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area, Ifelodun LCDA,[citation needed] and Amuwo Odofin LCDA, catering to a population of approximately 2.8 million people. It also receives patients from neighboring areas, including Ojo, Iyana Iba, Okokomaiko, and parts of Ogun State.

The facility provides 24-hour emergency services, a blood bank, and medical, surgical, dental, and gynecological care,[citation needed] with a commitment to continuous staff development and modern healthcare delivery.[1][2]
