Connie Rahakundini Bakrie (Rahakundini Laspetrini; born November 3, 1964) is an Indonesian academic, international relations analyst, and defense strategy expert. She is a Professor of International Relations at Saint Petersburg State University (SPbU), Russia, and holds the title of Ambassador of Science and Education of the Russian Federation.

With an educational background and professional experience spanning Australia, Taiwan (Republic of China), China (People’s Republic of China), the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, and Russia, Bakrie is known for her work on international relations, geopolitics, defense strategy, and maritime and aerospace security.

She is a permanent member of the Valdai Discussion Club, a Moscow-based international think tank focusing on global geopolitics and Russian foreign policy. Her ideas have been presented in academic forums, international journals, and global policy discussions, particularly on multipolarity, international security, and civilizational dynamics in world politics.

Connie previously served as a Senior Researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in Tel Aviv, Israel. She currently serves as Chair of the Maritime Advisory Board of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI). She has also been involved in various Indonesian governmental institutions and international strategic forums related to defense policy, geopolitics, and national security.

In the political sphere, Bakrie is known to have a close professional relationship with the fifth President of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri. She was formerly a member of the Expert Council of the NasDem Party before later resigning.
