Die of Death is a ROBLOX game in the style of an ASYM horror game, created by Saucefy10.
Die of Death, originally made as “Game With Killers”, is made purely as a joke, and a take on the “retroslop” term commonly found among modern ROBLOX games.
Die of Death, as stated above, is an “ASYM Horror Game”, meaning its’ gameplay revolves around one player trying to kill, while the rest attempt to survive for however long.
In Die Of Death’s case(Shortened to DOD/DoD), there are currently 5 killers to select between.(See Far Below)
Civilians, as the game refers to them, act as the “survivors” of DoD.
Special, compared to other popular ROBLOX “ASYM horror games”, such as “Forsaken”(PAGE NOT MADE/FOUND), there are no fixed abilities for Civilians, and therefore, no characters to select.
Then how do Civilians Work?
[edit]
Instead of the usual “Character A can do this and this, but Character B can do this and this”, at the start of each “round”, A pop-up will appear on each Civilian’s screen.
This pop-up consists of 3 “Deck Of Death” cards, with a visualizer on the two abilities that deck gives. These combinations are random, can never be two of the same ability per deck, and have 2 “Synergy Decks” so far(See Soon Below).
All Civilians, without downsides(See Soon Below), start with 100 Health and 100 Stamina.
Visually, replaces the Civilian’s face with a more nervous one.
Upon use, shows your location to all alive teammates, before greatly increasing move speed for a few seconds, at the cost of being unable to regenerate stamina during it, and having a finishing animation that locks you in place briefly.
Visually, adds a clown nose, a bowtie, and legs, all yellow in color.
Upon use, slows movement down to a near-halt, while the Civilian pulls out a “Banana Launcher”, and shoots out a banana peel in front of them.
This banana peel is affected by terrain before it settles in place.
Upon stepping on this peel, whoever does so will fall, briefly rendering them unable to move, but technically not “stunned”.
This applies to both Killers AND Civilians, though, and the peel only activates once.
Visually, makes the Civilian’s torso grey, and adds a knight helmet.
Upon use, has the Civilian quickly take a bracing stance, and awaits an attack. Facing the attack or not does not affect results.
Should an attack attempt to hit the Civilian during its’ activation, all damage will be removed, a small amount of health will be regenerated instantly as a reward.
Visually, adds a “Builders Club” Hard Hat.
Upon use, cease all movement abilities, and spend a few seconds building a “Bonus Pad” below your feet.
This bonus pad lasts for 40 seconds, and, whenever any Civilian steps on it, speeds up their move speed for a second or two.
Activation does not affect how long the bonus pad lasts, and it can speed up multiple Civilians at once.
Is able to have its’ effect stacked if multiple separate pads activate together, for an increased effect.
Visually, makes the Civilian’s torso white, and adds a Nurse Hat.
Upon use, take out a vial and spray it out in front of you.
Should the spray “hit” an injured Civilian, it will heal them by 10HP immediately, followed by another 10HP in regeneration.
The spray CANNOT be used directly on yourself, but can still affect other Caretakers.
Visually, adds an Invisibility Cape.
Upon activation, take a second to turn invisible, and then stay that way for 10 seconds, before taking another second to turn visible again.
You can still walk/run while invisible, however, being invisible renders you unable to regenerate stamina during the process, and also doubles the rate of consumption for it.
This invisibility does not hide the “slash marks” that appear on the Civilian’s torso the less health they have, though, and the invisibility ends early if the Killer manages to hit you while invisible.
Visually, adds a white bandana.
Upon use, spend 35 stamina to quickly dash forwards a reasonable distance (without going into negative numbers), and disables stamina regeneration for a second afterwards.
Visually, adds an orange bike-helmet.
Upon use, spend a few seconds eating a hotdog. Eating the hotdog will restore 15 health, and add 5 max health, but permanently remove 5 stamina.
Also slightly increases the size of the Civilian’s torso each use.
Visually, adds black gloves.
Upon use, quickly punch forwards. Should the punch interact with a Killer, it will stun them for a few seconds, rendering them unable to move or use their abilities.
Visually, adds a brown torso, a smirking face, and a cowboy hat.
Revolver comes in two “stages”, which this Wikipedia will refer to as “Ready” and “Empty” mode.
Upon using Revolver in Ready mode, stand still for a second, before shooting a bullet forwards. This bullet takes time to travel, and, upon making impact on anything(excluding Civilians), will make a small explosion.
If a Killer is hit by either the bullet or the explosion, they will be stunned, similar to Punch.
Once used in Ready mode, it will enter Empty mode.
Upon using Revolver in Empty mode, stand still for a few seconds, and reload your gun. Doing so will return your ability to Ready mode.
Visually, adds light blue torso, a smug face, and a backwards cap.
Upon use, spit out a rude phrase in front of you, with a hitbox that gets progressively bigger over the duration.
Should the hitbox interact with a Killer, it will briefly slow them down to a crawl, and obstruct their screen with a series of GIFs sliding across their screen of Taunt laughing at them.
Can be stacked on top of itself for extra effect, with even just two being able to nearly fully obstruct the Killer’s vision.
Visually, adds a green torso, and a white+green hard hat.
Functionally, combines BonusPad and Caretaker.
For its’ synergy, rather than speeding up Civilians when stepped on, BonusPad becomes “CarePad”, making it so it heals Civilians who stand on it for 5HP each second.
Visually, adds a purple torso, dark purple legs, and a purple cowboy hat, with pink hearts on half of it.
Functionally, combines Revolver and Caretaker.
For its’ synergy, it adds a bonus where, should you successfully land a Revolver shot, you heal 10 or more HP as a bonus, depending on the distance of the stun compared to where it was shot from.
Certain abilities have downsides, which can reduce their HP or SP. (Health-Points & Stamina-Points)
The list of downsides is as follows, including abilities without ones: (Stats with changes shown in bold)
Adrenaline: -0HP -0SP
Banana Peel: -0HP -0SP
Block: -0HP -0SP
BonusPad: -10HP -0SP
Caretaker: -25HP -0SP

Revolver: -0HP -10SP
Taunt: -0HP -0SP
CarePad: -35HP -0SP

There are currently 5 publicly available Killers in DoD, and 2 developer-only Killers.
These Killers are as follows, each section containing:
1: Name
2: In-game Quote
3: Ability Name & Function
(KILLER SKINS SHOWN SEPPARATELY)
[ All killers have a basic attack, and 3 special attacks. ]
“All of it’s prey shall be pursued.” -In-game Quote
Pursuer is purely a melee based killer, with its’ abilities only further stressing that playstyle.
Slash / Basic-1
Do a simple slash forwards, dealing 20 damage to any Civilians you hit.
Can hit multiple Civilians, should they be bunched up.
Cleave / Special-1
Quickly pull out a sword from behind your back and lunge it forwards, dealing 20 damage immediately, followed by 10 more damage over time, from “bleed”.
This Bleed, however, is unable to kill Civilians.
Only hits one Civilian, unlike "Slash".
Howl / Special-2
Reel back and howl into the air, harshly slowing all Civilians within a 100 stud radius of you.
This slowness lasts for 6 seconds, though the first two seconds are spent in the animation, rendering it only 4 seconds of slowing that you can benefit from.
The slowness of this is capable of stacking on itself, should it currently be a gamemode where more than one Killer is active.
Stalk / Special-3
Take a second to reconfigure yourself, before gaining invisibility, greatly increased speed, and seeing the location of all Civilians, at the cost of being unable to attack during it.
After it’s timer is up, get locked in placed for a second while you regain visibility.
Can be reactivated to end early, but suffers from a longer end animation.
“[CONTENT DELETED]” -In-game Quote
Badware is a “snowball” killer, based around building up strength until it’s impossible to stop.
Slash / Basic-1
Do a simple swipe forwards, dealing 20 damage to any Civilians you hit.
Can hit multiple Civilians, should they be bunched up.
Firewall Bypass / Special-1
Be forced to stand still for a few seconds while building a PC at your location.
This PC, once made, gives a considerable speed boost when within a loosely close area of it.
PCs will naturally last forever, however, Civilians can destroy them by interacting with them, adding a percentage out of 100, which is smaller the more Civilians still alive.
This percentage caps at 25%, with a minimal of 5%.
Bolt / Special-2
Take a brief second to release a loud sound, before charging forwards for a few seconds.
This charge has near-instant turning, is as fast as a Civilian’s sprint speed, allows for stamina regeneration, and will fling the Civilian they hit away slightly.
By default, only deals 10 damage, but gains +5 damage for each PC from Firewall Bypass you have placed.
Hits only one Civilian.
Rift / Special-3
Stand still, but have all locations of your currently active PCs shown using icons.
Clicking on said icon, will have you spend a brief second preparing, before instantly teleporting to that PC, though spontaneously destroying it in the process.
After successfully teleporting, gain a massive speed boost for a short bit.
Also, will deal 10 damage in bleed, if a Civilian is caught in the explosion that happens when a PC is successfully teleported to.
“For my next trick, I shall make the Civilians of Robloxia VANISH!” -In-game Quote
Artful is a “trapper” killer, relying on using his tools to manipulate the map to his advantage.
Swing / Basic-1
Swing your wand forwards, dealing 20 damage to any Civilians you hit.
Can hit multiple Civilians, should they be bunched up.
Implement / Special-1
Spend a second swirling your wand, before summoning a reasonably sized wall at your location.
This wall takes a second to fully rise, meaning Civilians can climb it if they are fast enough.
The wall has naturally deteriorating health, and can be killed earlier by using “stun” abilities against it, but also has upwards-scaling health depending on how many Civilians are currently alive.

This music box, once placed, will remain stationary, and slow any Civilians within a medium radius of it.
The music box is only capable of slowing one Civilian at a time, but can change “targets” roughly every second for pseudo-area effect.

Harken is a “glass cannon” killer, who combines low health and high damage potential, with a powering-up meter that can activate.
“NEW DIRECTIVE: BLAST TARGET TO SMITHEREENS.” -In-game Quote
Killdroid is a “ranged area denial” killer, meaning he combines threats from a distance, and restraining movement options.
