Fanny Peabody Mason (November 18, 1864-1948) was an heiress who became a patron of music who lived in Boston and Walpole, Massachusetts.[1] She established a series of free public concerts known as the Peabody Mason Concerts.[2]

George and Fanny Peabody (1840-1895) were her grandparents.[3][4] William Powell Mason Jr. was her father (son of William Powell Mason and Hannah Rogers Mason) and Fanny Peabody Mason her mother.[5]

She lived at her family home at 211 Commonwealth. She associated with French artist Alice Thevin (1862-1937)
after her after her father’s death.[6] The Fanny Peabody Mason Music Building at Harvard University was finished in 1914.[7][8]
