Nimay Ndolo (born 21 August 1994) is an American actress, author and online personality. She was named one of Rolling Stone Top influencers for 2024 and one of Webby Awards and TIME Magazine Top influencers for 2025.‎[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Ndolo was born in the Powder Springs, Georgia to parents of Nigerian descent. She pursued her higher education in Theatre and Film at Georgia State University.[4]

Career

Ndolo started off working in several non-tech jobs including delivery and film, before pivoting into tech as a front end developer for a startup company.[5][6]

In 2021, she began posting on social media again about tech workplace life and culture, and also cryptocurrency.[7][8] She later broadened her content beyond tech and finance to coverage and commentary on politics, entertainment and general public issues using comedy.[1] She also partook in VidCon. In 2024 she was recognized as a Top creator and influencer by Rolling Stone, and in 2025 by both Webby Awards and Time Magazine.[9][3]

She has featured American Senator Cory Booker and politician Zohran Mamdani.[3] For its Return on Culture 2024 event, Future Forward PAC hosted Ndolo, alongside Jeff Lawson, the owner of The Onion.[10] She also collaborated with Penelope Gazin on her fashion line The Fashion Company.[11]

Advocate for blockchain voting.[8]
