Nepalese ENT specialist and surgeon

Paras Poudel is a Nepalese ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist and head & neck surgeon based in Surkhet, Nepal. He completed medical training at Kathmandu University and postgraduate training in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and practices in Karnali Province.^[1]

Early life and education

Poudel completed schooling from SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, Surkhet in 2003. He completed +2 from Himalayan White House Int’l College, Kathmandu in 2005, Poudel earned his MBBS from Kathmandu University in 2012 and subsequently completed an MS in Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery from Tribhuvan University in 2020.^[1]

Career

Poudel is a consultant ENT specialist and head & neck surgeon registered with the Nepal Medical Council (NMC number 12373).^[1] He has been affiliated with Deuti Hospital Pvt. Ltd. in Surkhet.^[2]

Research and publications

Poudel co-authored a retrospective study on lobular capillary hemangioma of the head and neck region, published in the Scholarly Journal of Otolaryngology in 2020.^[3]
