Tamara: Journal for Critical Organization Inquiry is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal in the field of organization and management studies.[1][2]. Founded in 2001 by David M. Boje, it focuses on critical and interpretive approaches in organizations.[3]

History

The journal was founded in 2001 by David M. The journal draws on traditions of critical management studies[10]. It encourages interdisciplinary, experimental and narrative forms of writing, including essays, storytelling, autoethnography and other qualitative methods.

The first article published in the journal was David Boje’s “Tamara Manifesto”[11]
