2025 aviation accident in Hong Kong

On 20 October 2025, Emirates SkyCargo Flight 9788, a Boeing 747-400 operated by Air ACT for Emirates SkyCargo, ran off of Runway 07L at Hong Kong International Airport after a collision with a ground vehicle. The aircraft came to rest in Kowloon Bay, with the tail section separated from the fuselage.[1] All four crew members on the aircraft survived. One person in the vehicle struck was killed while another person has been sent to North Lantau Hospital.[2][3]
