FK Ilinden Skopje (Macedonian: ФК Илинден Скопје) is a Macedonian football club based in the Municipality of Ilinden, near Skopje, North Macedonia. Founded in 1958, the club is one of the oldest community football institutions in the Skopje region. FK Ilinden competes in the OFS Gazi Baba regional football league (Fourth-ranked league in the competition system of the Football Federation of Macedonia), and is recognized for its long-standing football tradition, community involvement, and youth football development.
FK Ilinden was founded in 1958 by local football enthusiasts and quickly became active in municipal and regional competitions. The club achieved its greatest success in the mid-1990s.
In the 1994–95 season, FK Ilinden won the Third Macedonian League – North and secured promotion for the first time to the Macedonian Second League. Its best achievement came in the 1995–96 season, when the club competed in the Macedonian Second League. Unfortunately, in the same year, they were relegated after finishing 15th in the Macedonian Second League – West.

The club’s home ground is the Ilinden Stadium, a facility that represents the heart of football in the Municipality of Ilinden. The pitch is covered with modern artificial grass, providing excellent playing conditions for both training and competitive matches throughout the year. The stadium is currently undergoing full reconstruction and modernization, transforming it into a contemporary sports complex that meets professional and international standards. It is expected that the works will be completed by the end of 2026, significantly improving both infrastructure and functionality.
The new stadium will include fully equipped dressing rooms for players, coaches, referees, and officials, ensuring maximum comfort and professionalism. There will also be spacious club offices to support the administrative and operational activities of FK Ilinden. A modern fitness center will be available for physical preparation, serving all age categories and promoting long-term sports development. Inside the complex, a restaurant will provide a comfortable space for athletes, parents, guests, and officials to relax and socialize. In addition, a large parking area will be constructed to accommodate visitors, fans, and official vehicles.
A central highlight will be the new tribune with a capacity of 1,100 seats, creating a comfortable and safe viewing experience for supporters. The stadium will be equipped with professional floodlighting approved according to all FIFA regulations, allowing for high-quality evening matches and international standards of broadcasting. Dedicated media areas will support press activities, interviews, and live coverage, ensuring professional promotion of the club and events. With these developments, Ilinden Stadium will become not only the home of FK Ilinden but also a modern regional center for youth development, football tournaments, and international sporting events.

FK Ilinden is closely connected with the **Football School Grozdanoski**, a structured football academy based in Skopje and Ilinden. Together, they run a complete youth development program with categories from **U-8 to U-19**, providing training, education, and competitive participation for over 500 young footballers. The academy focuses on technical, tactical, and physical development, and serves as a pathway to the senior squad.
Club colors and kits
[edit]

These iconic colors represent the passion and fighting spirit of the team, making them a recognizable symbol of the club. The away kit is primarily white with elegant red-black elements, combining modern design with the club’s historic identity. Both kits are produced by Seven Sports, ensuring high-quality materials and professional appearance. These designs reflect the club’s strong heritage while embracing a modern and professional image.
