Higher education college

Forward College is higher education college founded by Boris Walbaum,[1][2] Celine Boisson[3] and Jeffrey Sampson[4] in September 2021. It operates campuses in Lisbon,[5] Paris, and Berlin,[6] with students spending one academic year at each campus during their studies.[7][8] Investors in Forward College include Xavier Niel[9][10]

Forward College is a recognised teaching centre of the University of London,[11] and a state-recognised higher education institution, accredited by the French Ministry of Education.[12]

Forward College offers seven academic bachelor’s degrees designed by the London School of Economics and King’s College London,[5] and accredited by the University of London.[1][6][9][13][14]

The university also offers an open bachelor’s programme, inspired by the US liberal arts model.[15] Multidisciplinary, customisable, and future-focused, students can explore a wide variety of subjects in year one and specialise in year two and three.[16]

In 2025, Forward College was awarded the Global Student Satisfaction Award for Teacher-Student Interaction, organised by Studyportals, British Council, and Uni-Life.[17]

Infanta Sofia of Spain, daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, is among the notable students attending Forward College. Her enrolment has received attention in international media outlets, confirming her studies at the institution’s campuses in Lisbon, Paris, and Berlin.[4][5][6][7]
