Indian film actor (1942–2020)
Imtiaz Khan (born Zecharian Khan; 15 October 1942 – 15 March 2020)[2] was an Indian actor and film and television director in Bollywood.
Early life
Imtiaz was the son of the actor Jayant[3] and younger brother of actor Amjad Khan.
His nephews are Seemaab Khan, a club cricketer,[4] and actor Shadaab Khan while his niece is Ahlam Khan, an actress and screenwriter.[5]
Career
He started his acting career as a child in the film Nazneen (1951),[citation needed] which also marked the acting debut of his elder brother.
Personal life
Khan was married twice. His first marriage was in 1985 to Roshan Khan, a junior artiste in films.[6] His second marriage was to Kruttika Desai until his death in 2020.[7] Their daughter, Ayesha Khan, is a model and actor.
Khan started dating Anju Mahendru[8] in 1972 but she broke up with him in 1979.[citation needed]
